Designing with Nature
Cassique Architectural Review Board
The Architectural Review Board (ARB) is an integral part of the Cassique community, acting as the guardian of our distinctive ethos. Guided by the philosophy of "Living with Nature" and our signature British Arts and Crafts aesthetic, the ARB's purpose is to ensure that every home and landscape complements the extraordinary beauty of our Lowcountry setting.
This meticulous curatorial approach safeguards the visual harmony and consistent quality of our community, which in turn protects the long-term value of your property and preserves the unique character that defines Cassique for generations to come.
New & Existing Homes
To preserve, protect, and enhance the architectural and landscapes within Cassique to a standard and manner consistent with the Covenants and Restrictions, any construction, improvement, alteration and maintenance must receive ARB approval. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: • New Home Construction • Major & Minor Improvements or Additions to an Existing Home or Landscape • Constructive Maintenance and Repair to an Existing Home • Modifications to the Existing Landscape and Hardscape Design • Tree Removal and Pruning Note: Please consult the ARB Standards and Guidelines, or contact the ARB for clarification on permitting requirements.
Encroachment Permit
All roadways and right-of-ways within Cassique are privately owned by the Homeowners Association, meaning an encroachment permit, or waiver, is required for any work being performed within the community. Work involving heavy equipment, construction dumpster and/or portable toilet requires an encroachment permit. Work which does not require these items may only need a permit waiver. Please review the Encroachment Requirements & Checklist on the ARB's website using the links below.
